Motor oil is the life-blood of an engine.
Also, it serves as a medium to dissipate heat. Since lubrication
is such an important factor in keeping the vehicle on
the road it just makes good sense to obtain the best lubrication
possible.
The categories of motor oil are “natural and synthetic”.
Natural oil is refined from crude oil which is pumped
from the ground. Synthetic oil uses a base of petroleum
hydrocarbon material combined with “esters”
– which are derivatives of various other products.
These are then blended to make the synthetic lubricant.
All motor oils are then enhanced with additional ingredients
to give them increased flow, anti-foaming and non-corrosive
characteristics, as well as viscosity indexes, which enable
the oils to flow properly under varying environmental
and demand related circumstances. All oils are marketed
under the premise that they will provide a measure of
protection against metal fatigue and engine wear. However,
it has been proven that engines still wear out and experience
dry starts when your engine has been stopped long enough
for the oil to drain back into the pan – even when
employing the highest grade synthetic products.
The technology to enhance any oil exists today —
Dyna–Lube Oil Additive — which can not only
eliminate the dry starts that reduce the life of your
equipment but has been proven to extend the service life
by 2-3 times when added to any lubricant. Dyna-Lube Oil
Additive is the result of over 50 years of hands on experience
and research that led to the discovery/creation of a new
“balanced” lubricant molecule. This additive
reduces friction to a fraction, speeds up flow and actually
impregnates the micro-pores of the metal leading to increased
horse power, better fuel economy and a reduction in energy
needed to operate equipment. The elimination of the dry
start also reduces the drain on your battery which is
especially noticeable in cold weather.
Other applications (other than engines/motors) include:
- Transmissions (Standard and Automatic)
- Gear Boxes
- Power Steering Pumps
- Hydraulic Components
