It's a proven fact that each time you change your oil the effectiveness of any oil additive is dramatically diluted. The Teflon additive proponents claim their product adheres to the metal surface. FACT - it takes over 1,400 degrees of heat to adhere Teflon to the surface of a frying pan. Consider the consequences of your engine getting that hot in order to make the Teflon coat components. Most automobile engines rarely reach 700 degrees. NOTE: You also might want to look at your Teflon coated frying pan and see how much of it is left. I believe you will see that some of the Teflon has been flavoring your eggs and bacon.
